Memorial Day – Never Forget
Yesterday my husband and son were discussing Memorial Day and the death of the creator of GI Joe, Donald Levine who was a U.S. Veteran who served in Korea. They had the GI Joe Action Figures out and when I came into the family room last night three GI Joes were in a semi-circle with their heads bowed and hands clasped in prayer.
I have thought a lot about this simple setup that took only a moment to do but says a lot.
I took the GI Joes outside this morning so I could get a better picture of them.
We shall always remember those brave souls who died to preserve our freedom.
